About Me
Kirsten Badre was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. After a ten-year career in education and administration, Kirsten transitioned into clinical social work and earned her Masters at San Diego State University.
Kirsten Badre, LCSW, is a licensed therapist in San Diego who works with children, families, individuals, and groups in a variety of settings. From chemical dependency, to trauma, to helping people manage anxiety and depression that comes from grief, loss, and life, Kirsten puts her clients at the center of their healing.
Kirsten specializes in trauma and has been the lead trauma therapist in outpatient settings. Inspired by Fred Rogers, Kirsten's private practice is centered around the belief that "anything that is human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone."
